Breslin Builders completes the new Miracle League of Las Vegas Ball Field...
November 21, 2009 was a special day for the children of Las Vegas. The ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony for the newest Miracle League field was held, along with the first base ball game. Breslin Builders, and their subcontractor partners, were excited to see this project come together and the fruits of their labors fulfilled when the field was used for it's purpose and allowed some kids the opportunity to play baseball and not let anything get in the way.
Breslin Builders provided the design services and construction services for the project. This ball field has been constructed to accommodate the special needs of children, providing the ability, regardless of their needs, to play baseball including teams and uniforms, making plays in the field, and rounding the bases just like their healthy peers. The ball field is being constructed on an old neighborhood baseball field that has been part of the Las Vegas history for many youth of the past and now will live on to serve many more youth. The field is located on the First Christian Church property in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Breslin Builders was part of the design team providing the design services for the concession stand/restroom/storage facilities. Other team members included Studio VBM (landscaping), Consulting Civil Engineers, Inc. (civil engineering), Premiere Mechanical (design-build mechanical system), O' Rourke Plumbing (design-build plumbing), and Auburn Electric (design-build electrical).
