Breslin Builders providing design-build services for Walgreens on the Las Vegas Strip...
Breslin Builders is working with Walgreens Corporation for a remodel of their location on Las Vegas Boulevard South across from the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino. The existing 14,667 square foot building will be getting an exterior facade remodel and a complete interior refresh to update this existing high profile store.
The exterior facade change will update its look and feel and include the addition on back-lit Kalwall translucent wall panels, metal wall cladding, stone slab tiles, and a new signage package. This will update the exterior from the existing painted stucco look completed in 1999 and help this project stand out with the other new developments in the area, namely City Center.
The interior remodel, with its challenge of doing remodel work within a fully operational 24 hour store, will update the interior look and feel of the store, as well as update the layout to new technologies and services Walgreens is offering in new stores. With this location being one of their busiest stores they operate, Breslin Builders will be working closely with Walgreens personnel to ensure the work is completed to Walgreens (and Breslin Builders) high standards, while still allowing the store to operate as best as possible.
Breslin Builders own in-house design group has provided design input/services and developed full construction documents for both areas of work to be completed and has submitted the plans for permit issuance. Work for both the interior and exterior remodels will start in January 2011 and be completed by May 2011.
Hand picked by Walgreens Corporation to do this project, this is the second project Breslin Builders has completed for Walgreens (first location at Durango and Deer Springs in Las Vegas, Nevada) and looks forward to many more projects with Walgreens.
